Shooting at Harris's campaign in Arizona

Egypt Daily News – Law enforcement officials found more than 200 firearms in the home of a man from Arizona who was arrested in connection with a shooting at the office of Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris.

The Arizona prosecutor said the man arrested in the shooting incident three times at the campaign office had more than 200 rifles and over 250,000 rounds of ammunition in his home, leading law enforcement authorities to believe he might have been planning an event that would result in mass casualties.

The Maricopa County Attorney, Neha Bhatia, said during Jeffrey Michael Kelly’s initial court appearance on Wednesday that federal agents informed her of the large seizure that occurred after Kelly’s arrest.

She added that binoculars, shields, and silencers were also found. An automatic weapon was found in the car he was driving.

Bhatia said that the large size of the stash led authorities to believe that “this person was preparing to commit an act that would result in mass casualties.”
