Egypt Daily News – The United States launched air strikes targeting the capital, Sanaa, on Saturday, according to what US Central Command confirmed on Saturday.
The US military said it carried out precise air strikes on a missile storage warehouse and a command and control facility run by the Iranian-backed Houthi group in Sanaa.
Local sources also reported that the bombing targeted military sites, barracks controlled by the Houthis at the foot of Mount Nuqum, east of the city, and other sites. The bombing also targeted the Attan and Nuqm areas in central Sanaa.
While planes continued to fly over Sanaa, explosions were heard east and west of the city. The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation reported that the bombing of Sanaa was American.
