Egypt Daily News – President El-Sisi held a phone call today with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during which he expressed his sincere condolences to the Indian government and Egypt’s solidarity with the families of the victims of the terrorist attack that targeted Indian tourists in the state of Kashmir.

Ambassador Mohamed El-Shennawy, the spokesperson for the Presidency, stated that the President emphasized Egypt’s condemnation of all forms of terrorism, pointing to Egypt’s efforts to confront terrorism and extremist ideologies through a comprehensive approach that considers all dimensions of the phenomenon.

For his part, the Indian Prime Minister appreciated the kind gesture, affirming the deep ties between the two countries and their friendly peoples.

The spokesperson added that the call also touched on bilateral relations, with both sides confirming the importance of joint efforts to translate the strategic partnership between the two countries into tangible cooperation projects and programs across various fields, and to intensify high-level communication to explore new prospects for collaboration that meet the aspirations of both peoples for progress and prosperity.
