Egypt Daily News – As opposition terrorist groups announcing the start of the phase of “encircling” Damascus, US President-elect Donald Trump said on Saturday that the United States should not interfere in the conflict in Syria, where terrorist groups threaten the government of President Bashar al-Assad.
Trump said in a post on his “Truth Social” social media platform, “Syria is in chaos, but it is not our friend, and the United States should have nothing to do with it.”
Before his meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron at the Elysee Palace in Paris, he added: “This is not our battle. Let us let the situation take its course. Let us not interfere.”
