Hamas: 33 hostages have been killed during the war in Gaza

Egypt Daily News – Hamas said on Monday that 33 hostages were killed during the 14-month-long war with Israel in Gaza, without the movement clarifying their nationalities. They added that some hostages were missing.

In a statement addressing Israel, Hamas said: “By continuing your crazy war, you may lose your hostages forever. Do what you have to do before it’s too late.”

Shortly thereafter, they published a video r that included details about the timing and manner of the hostages’ deaths, blaming Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for their fate.

The Israeli army has not issued any comment yet, while air strikes continue on Gaza.

Hamas had called for an end to the war and the complete withdrawal of Israel within the framework of any agreement concluded to release the remaining hostages. Netanyahu said that the war will continue until Hamas is eliminated.

The Israeli military attack has caused the death of more than 46,400 Palestinians and the displacement of most of Gaza’s residents, according to officials there, in addition to the destruction of large areas of the Gaza Strip.
