Egypt increases non-emergency ambulance service prices in Cairo and between governorates by a substantial amount

Egypt Daily News – The Egyptian Ambulance Authority announced an increase in the prices of its non-emergency services starting today, Thursday, October 10, 2024.

These increases do not include the imposition of any new fees on emergency ambulance services for critical, urgent, and accident cases.

This increase includes varying percentages for each service, whether within Cairo or in the governorates.

And the new increases are as follows:

Transportation services for a distance of 1-25 km: 450 pounds
And up to 50 km: 625 pounds

From 51-75 km: 800 pounds

From 76-100 km: 975 pounds

From 101-125 km: 1150 pounds

From 126-150 km: 1325 pounds

From 151-175 km: 1500 pounds

From 176-200 km: 1675 EGP

From 201-225 km: 1850 Egyptian pounds

From 226-250 km: 2025 pounds

From 251-275 km: 2200 pounds

From 276-300 km: 2375 pounds

From 301-325 km: 2550 Egyptian pounds

From 326-350 km: 2725 pounds

From 351-375 km: 4300 pounds

From 376-400 km: 3075 EGP

From 401-425 km: 3250 pounds

From 426-450 km: 3425 pounds

From 451-475 km: 3600 pounds

From 476-500 km: 3775 pounds

The prices for internal transport have been set between 125 pounds and 450 pounds, and inter-governorate transport from 2550 to 3850 pounds.

In addition, the transportation cost from South Sinai Governorate to Aswan has been set at 9,100 pounds, and from Matrouh to Aswan at 9,300 pounds.

As for insuring youth, the prices for youth centers have been set between 750 to 1000 Egyptian pounds, while the prices for the lower leagues range between 1000 and 1250 Egyptian pounds, and for the premier league clubs, it is 2500 Egyptian pounds.

Securing a sports day for 6 hours ranges between 5000 and 5900 pounds, while the cost of the general assembly elections is 12500 pounds, and the price of cinematography is 49,000 pounds.

The new prices also include the escort service from 500 to 700 pounds, and the landing fee from 300 to 400 pounds, with a 350% increase applied to the prices designated for foreigners.

This announcement comes as part of the authority’s efforts to update and develop its services to meet the needs of citizens.
