Egypt Daily News – U.S. President Donald Trump said Israel will hand over the Gaza Strip to the United States when the fighting ends, and Palestinians will be resettled in safer communities.

“Israel will hand over the Gaza Strip to the United States when the fighting is over,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. The Palestinians could have already been resettled, in safer and more beautiful communities, with new and modern homes in the area,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

“They will actually have a chance to be happy, safe and free. The United States, working with great development teams from around the world, will slowly and carefully begin to build what will become one of the greatest and most magnificent developments of its kind on earth. Soldiers will not be needed by the U.S. and the region will be stabilized.”

The statement comes after Trump revealed on Tuesday evening during a press conference with Netanyahu at the White House that he intends to take over the Gaza Strip and expel the Palestinians from it, sparking a wide regional and international response from US allies and adversaries who unanimously support the two-state solution.
