Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait H.E. Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, in the presence of Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptians Expatriates Dr. Badr Abdelatty, Ambassador of Kuwait to Egypt Ghanem Saqr Al-Ghanem and Assistant Foreign Minister for the Minister of Foreign Affairs Office Minister Plenipotentiary Abdullah Nasser Al Obaidi.

The Spokesman for the Presidency, Ambassador Mohamed El-Shennawy, said President El-Sisi conveyed his greetings to the Amir of the State of Kuwait, His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and praised the historical ties and close bonds between the two countries. President El-Sisi affirmed Egypt’s categorical rejection of any infringement on the sovereignty of Kuwait or any other Arab state, stressing Egypt’s full support for the security and stability of Kuwait and for all measures it takes to protect the capabilities of its people.

President El-Sisi further emphasized that the security of Kuwait and all Arab states is integral to Egypt’s national security.

The President underscored the importance of further strengthening bilateral relations across various fields, particularly in investment and trade, to serve the mutual interests of the two peoples. President El-Sisi noted the remarkable development in Egyptian-Kuwaiti relations in recent years, calling for continued efforts to elevate them to broader horizons.

The Kuwaiti Foreign Minister conveyed to the President the greetings and appreciation of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, expressing pride in the continuous progress of bilateral relations and commending Egypt’s historical positions in support of Kuwait’s security, sovereignty, and stability, as well as its consistent support for the security of the Arab Gulf states. Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah said the State of Kuwait looked forward to intensifying consultation and coordination with Egypt to maintain regional peace and stability and safeguard the security of Arab states.
