Egypt Daily News – The renown actor Nabil El-Halafawy passed away from our world a short while ago at the age of 77, after recently suffering from a health problem, after which he was transferred to the hospital.
Nabil El-Halafawi was born in the Sayyida Zeinab neighborhood on April 22, 1947. After graduating from the Faculty of Commerce, he joined the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts because of his intense love for acting, and graduated in 1970.
He began his acting career through theater, where he presented many plays and then headed to television. His first work on television was the series “Mohamed, the Messenger of God,” Part One, in 1980.
His most prominent dramatic works include “Raafat Al-Hagan” and “Zezenia,” while he excelled cinematically in films such as “The Road to Eilat.”
His last works was were the movie “Handing over the People,” which premiered in 2022, where he appeared as a guest of honor in the movie starring Donia Samir Ghanem and Hisham Majed, and directed by Khaled Al-Halafawi.
