Egypt Daily News – President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi engaged in a phone conversation with Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte to discuss enhancing bilateral relations, particularly in economic areas such as agriculture, water management, industry, and green hydrogen production.
Both leaders emphasized the positive state of their countries’ relations and expressed a commitment to further developing their economic partnership and investment opportunities.
During the call, they also addressed regional and international issues of mutual concern, with a particular focus on the escalating situation in the Middle East.
President El-Sisi reiterated Egypt’s ongoing efforts to promote de-escalation and establish a ceasefire in the Palestinian territories and Lebanon. He underscored the need for the international community, especially influential European nations, to intensify their initiatives towards halting the conflict and supporting the two-state solution, which aims to establish a Palestinian state based on international legitimacy.
The objective is to foster regional stability and sustainable security for all peoples in the area.
